Some of the most beautiful cities in Italy such as Salzana, Pisa, Lucca, Florence and Pistoia will be easily accessed from the agritourism La Carreccia.  All around are soon-to-be-seen, medieval boroughs stretching all along the via Francigena.

Special events will be a worth a longer stay at La Carreccia, which include the  Festival della Mente di Sarzana (end of August, early September), La Soffitta in Strada (Sarzana, in August), the Carrara Festival Mediterraneo (in September) and the  Palio del Golfo di La Spezia (on the first Sunday of August).
